You will be pleasantly surprised at what a gentle flavor this has. It makes a great compliment to a main entree such as turkey sausage with jumbalaya rice.
- 1 small head cabbage
- 1/3 cup butter
- some salt
In a skillet melt 1/4 cup butter over medium heat. Cut a small head of cabbage in six wedges. Cook wedges until brown on one side (about 5 minutes). Turn wedges, cover; cook 10 minutes or until cabbage is browned and tender when pierced with a fork. Sprinkle with salt just before serving.
